The various types of feed reader
There are basically two types of RSS reader: programs you can install on your computer, or sites that offer this service upon registration (no charge). Between the two possibilities I've always preferred the second: use an online feed reader allows you to track your favorite blogs wherever you are at home or at work, by the same instrument.
Google Reader
Among the online tools we can find for free, I think Google Reader is what provides the best simplicity / completeness. To use it we need a Google account we can create it from ---->>>Here<----- <<----- So you create a google account just by entering the function google reader.
The first impact with the reader may be disarming, but we go straight to the point: we feed our first feed. Click on "Add subscription"to the left:
And you will see a text box where we enter the site feed to which we subscribe, or simply the address of the site (if given only the address of the site, there may be other proposed feed: in this case just choose what we want ).
To subscribe to mstech feed, for example, you must enter http://www.mysensetechnology.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss and click "Add. " Immediately to the left will see the list of recent posts.
When we add a new subscription, the reader lists the last 10 post (usually) highlighting this number next to the name of the blog post as unread. As you scroll down on the elements, and then read them, we will see the number of posts to read that will automatically decrease. We can also now mark them all read by clicking on "Mark all as read"that we see at the top right area. At this point we can add all the other blogs that we want the same way.
All done, when one of the blogs to which you have subscribed to publish a post, next to their name will appear in your reader (1) to indicate its presence (of course it can be more than one, depending on the frequency with which controlled the reader). At the right you can read by the reader himself, and if you want to go in the original post just click on its title to open another tab that points directly to that blog.
Google Reader has thousands of useful tools, such as the ability to organize feeds into different folders or segnarseli as "special"for them to review later. It 'even possible to have statistics on the habits of bloggers, for example, on average, how many posts are normally located or what time.
To you discover all its functions. For any questions about using Google Reader, you can leave me a comment to this article.
